JULIET Holt YR 0/1 Goal Term One:
We are learning to identify and describe words that start with our letter of the week
In our classroom we use KidPix as a tool to show our understanding of our letter of the week.
Goal Term Two:
We are learning to take effective photos to show an experience.
In our class we have taken photos of our icecream sundae making experience. We used these photos to help us with our writing about the experience. We had heaps and heaps of fun and our icecream was really YUMMY!
We are learning to take effective photos using the elements of photography.
We are learning to look at things from a different perspective.
Through the eyes of an ant, it's better with two and textures were the areas of focus for each group. This was there first time taking photos. They then downloaded the photos and used movie maker to put them into a slideshow.

Goal Term One:
We a learning to visually communicate a message
In our class we first create a slideshow of children demonstrating 'Car Park Safety'
Students took photos and as a class created a slideshow.
Students then created safety poster using Comic Life to communicate a clear message.
We are learning about composition
We took portraits using interesting angles and shots.
Our portraits needed to show personality.
Goal Term Two:
We are learning to think critically about images
This Term we are doing a mini unit on SPACE before we launch into our INQUIRY UNIT later this Term.
We created images in KidPix and then bluescreened ourselves onto these pages using PowerPoint. We did voice overs of our learning from our unit and then created a slideshow.
Goal Term Three:
We are learning to communicate using static images.
We are learning to take photographic portraits using composition and display them in a variety of ways.

Goal Term One:
We are learning to communicate a clear message.
We are learning to be responsible classroom members
When we were setting up our classroom culture at the beginning of the year we looked at what it looked like to be RESPONSIBLE. We planned our pages carefully and then took photos, once the planning and photos were complete we created responsibility posters in Comic Life.
We are learning to write descriptions/ we are learning to describe.
We wrote Acrostic Poems about ourselves and our strengths, likes, or hobbies. We then created these in KidPix and videoed ourselves reading them out.
Goal Term Two:
Goal Term Three: We are learning to communicate a clear message about the importance of Push Play.
We story-boarded our message and ensured it had a clear beginning, middle and end. We learnt to use interesting shots and angles that emphasised emotion and detail. We learnt to work cooperativley as a team.

Goal Term Three:
We are learning to use our skills in kidpix to create a slideshow telling the story of an animal myth we have written. We will record our own voices to tell the story and add sound effects
